Even if they don't matter much to Sadja's story. It should've been labeled as "The Dark Eye: Memoria" or "The Dark Eye 2: Memoria" to make clear that things had happened before. I must say that the title of Memoria is rather unfortunate. The developers have optimized the rulebook specially. Drakensang builds on the pen & paper rules as applied in version 4.0.

Drakensang is the first PC game for over 10 years to be based on Germany's most successful and popular role-play system. You'll just relate better to what they are refering to in Memoria. Drakensang is a third-person party-based RPG based on the pen & paper role-play rules of The Dark Eye. It could be the script or because it's a tad more serious than Satinav and Memoria.īecause of the emotions that come with Nuri's and Geron's relationship I would people suggest to play Satinav first. Sadly they don't strike me there as much, not even Geron's and Nuri's. With an incredible eye for detail, Aventuria's adventurous world has come to life on PC's in state-of-the-art 3D graphics to vibrate this fantasy world, Drakensang: The Dark Eye is the first PC game built over it popular franchise, and takes place in a fantasy world filled with adventure and excitement, just waiting to be explored by you. I am re-hearing many voice actors from Satinav/Memoria in the Game of Thrones RPG. Because even if I didn't really know what Nuri and Geron were sometimes talking about - there are references to events they had experienced and characters they had met - I still could feel many emotions shining through the gorgeous voice acting. That being said: I think it was an interesting experience to have played Memoria first. Well, the first moments you play with Geron and Nuri in Memoria you are spoiled massively regarding the Satinav ending, so if you don't realize the order before then you can very well continue with Memoria. I played Memoria knowing somewhat that Satinav came before, I think.
